Compared to most other trump taking games, Euchre online has a very different trump rating. The Jack, sometimes known as the Right Bower, is the top card within the trump suit, which is ranked higher than the other suits. In a strange twist, the Jack in the other suit, which shares the same color as the trump card, ends up becoming the second-best trump card. For instance, the Jack of clubs, sometimes known as the Left Bower, would be the next greatest card if spades were trump. The remaining trump cards are then dealt in order from high to low: Ace, King, Queen, 10, 9, and so on. For all intents and purposes, the Left Bower is regarded as a member of the Trump suit. To be more specific, the order of the trump cards would be as follows if the trump suit were Hearts:

- Jack of Hearts (Right Bower)
- Jack of Diamonds (Left Bower)
- Ace of Hearts
- King of Hearts
- Queen of Hearts
- 10 of Hearts
- 9 of Hearts
